감사드립니다.
말의 건강과 생명을 지키는 발굽관리는 단순한 기술을 넘어, 동물복지와 산업 발전을 동시에 이끄는 핵심 분야입니다.
대한발굽관리협회는 오랜 역사 속에서 말과 함께해온 우리 민족의 전통과 정신을 계승하며, 발굽관리의 전문성과 체계화를 통해 새로운 기준을 세워가고 있습니다.
우리 민족은 북방의 광활한 대지를 누비며 말과 함께 살아온 기마민족의 후예입니다. 말은 단순한 가축이 아닌, 삶과 문화, 그리고 역사를 함께해온 상징적인 존재였습니다.
사단법인 대한발굽관리협회는 1942년 장·삭제 업무의 체계적 발전을 기반으로 시작되어, 한국마사회 장제보조 활동을 거쳐 오늘에 이르기까지 발굽관리의 적정성 확보와 기술 향상, 직무 개선을 위해 끊임없이 노력해왔습니다.
현재 전국 60여 명의 전문 발굽관리 회원들은 동물의 발굽 보건 및 위생 관리 체계를 확립하고, 발굽 질병의 예방과 생산성 향상을 통해 축산업 발전에 기여하고 있으며, 나아가 동물복지의 실현을 위한 책임 있는 역할을 수행하고 있습니다.
앞으로 대한발굽관리협회는 소통과 화합을 바탕으로 농가와 발굽관리사 간의 신뢰를 더욱 공고히 하고, 발굽관리의 중요성에 대한 사회적 인식 확산과 함께 전문 인력의 교육·훈련 및 미래 인재 양성에 최선을 다할 것입니다.
대한발굽관리협회는 발굽관리의 새로운 기준을 제시하며, 대한민국을 넘어 세계로 나아가는 전문 조직으로 성장해 나가겠습니다.

The Korea Hoof Care Association carries forward the legacy and spirit of a people who have long lived alongside horses, establishing new standards in hoof care through professionalism and systematic development.
Our people are descendants of a nomadic equestrian culture that once roamed vast northern lands. Horses were never merely livestock—they were companions in life, culture, and history.
In this context, hoof care—protecting the health and life of horses—has evolved beyond a technical practice into a critical field that supports both animal welfare and industrial advancement.
Founded on the systematic development of hoof trimming and shoeing practices since 1942, the Korea Hoof Care Association has continuously worked to improve standards, enhance technical expertise, and advance professional practices in hoof care.
Today, over 60 professional members across the country are dedicated to establishing structured systems for hoof health and hygiene management, while contributing to the advancement of animal welfare.
The Korea Hoof Care Association will continue to set new standards in hoof care and grow into a globally recognized professional organization. Thank you.
